Demonstration of lithium battery cases for intelligent cleaning robots

With the rapid development of intelligent control technology and sensing devices, more and more robots are being applied in various fields. The use of special robots to replace humans in working in special environments is becoming increasingly common. Our intelligent lithium battery cleaning robot developed specifically for solar photovoltaic power plants has strong weather resistance, with low temperatures up to -25 degrees Celsius and high temperatures up to 65 degrees Celsius. It can adapt to the characteristics of large environmental temperature differences such as the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. And it has the characteristics of high energy density, high voltage, and high amplification rate. The same volume of power can provide robots with longer working hours, adapt to various harsh environments, and solve the problem of continuous operation in any weather.




1. Battery design requirements for 24V20Ah intelligent cleaning robot




Design batteries that meet environmental requirements and match the host according to customer requirements and specifications, tailored to local conditions. Add a battery heating module in the design. When the temperature exceeds -25 degrees, the device can charge and discharge normally. Solved the disadvantage of poor charging safety of traditional lithium batteries below 0 degrees Celsius. Allow the device to operate continuously in extremely harsh environments.




1) Battery shape requirement: Use square aluminum shell lithium phosphate battery (LP2770134-8S1P/20Ah/25.6V).




2) Structural design requirements: The appearance is exquisite, and the battery as a whole meets the requirements of waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof. Battery compartment, 75 * 145 * 300mm




3) Circuit design requirements: 24V/20Ah, normal charging current 6A, normal working current 9A, and instantaneous maximum working current 15A; The conventional protection function with a balanced circuit can effectively compensate for the differences between battery cells during battery use, maximizing battery life; The working temperature is -25 ℃ -60 ℃, and additional heating of the battery is required in low temperature climates.

1) Powder coated metal shell. The metal shell has been exquisitely designed according to customer requirements, with a surface sprayed with black powder, effectively protecting the shell from oxidation and discoloration caused by environmental impact. The design of the sealing strip meets the requirements of waterproofing, dust prevention, and impact resistance. There are four dedicated sockets on the casing for charging, discharging, temperature sensing, and heating. The insulation layer uses insulation material with a thickness of approximately 5 millimeters. The outer box has a handle design, making it convenient for temporary transportation and use; The top cover and panel can be flexibly disassembled for convenient battery maintenance.




2) Protection board (PCM).




Protection board design: This scheme adopts high-precision BMS detection as the battery information collection unit, with protection functions such as overcharging, over discharging, overcurrent, short circuit, high and low temperature, and can balance the voltage and current of individual batteries




Design of heating section. To ensure the heating effect, when the ambient temperature inside the battery box reaches 0 ℃, the customer's charging terminal will detect a signal of 0 ℃ and delay heating for 10 minutes. Its purpose is to ensure consistency in the temperature of the entire battery.




3) Overcurrent protection chip (PTC): mainly designed as a secondary protection function. Renewable PTC fuses have a dual function of overcurrent protection and automatic recovery. PTC in battery products can prevent high-temperature discharge of batteries and the occurrence of dangerous high currents.

3. Product features of 24V20Ah intelligent cleaning robot.




Long service life (capacity not less than 70% after 1000 cycles).




Excellent working temperature (able to work stably for a long time under temperature conditions of -20 ℃+60 ℃).




Installing a battery detection unit in the battery can accurately and real-time detect the voltage, temperature, capacity, and other conditions of the battery, and transmit them to the main system in a timely manner through the communication system, which can completely improve the safety of the product's operation.




The battery pack casing is designed with sheet metal material, which has excellent impact resistance and resistance to high and low temperatures. It is effectively flame retardant and has high performance, ensuring that the battery pack always maintains effective protection ability under external impacts. It is equipped with a foldable handle, which is practical for carrying.




The battery unit has passed all safety tests of the Chinese automotive industry standard "Lithium ion Batteries for Electric Vehicles QC/T743-2006", and all comply with the provisions of the standard.
